    A Surreal yet Phenomenal Whirlwind

So, do you remember that New Year’s Resolution list I’ve been living my life by for the past ten months? Well, I think I’ve nailed it in two weeks flat. There’s a lot I can’t publicise yet, but bits I can.   Read More...

    Giraffes, Bus Stops and Idiots

So, it’s a Wednesday afternoon (Thursday evening by the time you read this), it’s raining in the same way that it has done all week and I have nothing interesting to say. Since we last spoke, I have written and replied to emails, sorted out my abysmal finances, and attended meetings. I mean, the meetings were productive, but there’s nothing to report on just yet.   Read More...

As many of you know, last Sunday I completed a mile and a half sponsored walk for Lincoln Drill Hall and Lincoln Samaritans. I’d spent months training to get my dysfunctional, uncooperative limbs ready for the challenge and I’d be lying if I said it all went to plan; it didn’t. The truth is, he doesn’t really know.   Read More...

    The Meaning of Life

Dear Trevor – can I call you that? You have so many names within different faiths, and in all honesty, God seems a tad formal.I'm writing to you because I asked my Written Wheelies what they wanted me to blog about, and one of them suggested, “the meaning of life”. I’m not too sure I can do the topic justice, so I thought I’d come to you.   Read More...

    Giraffes are my Favourite Things

The fun began at 6am on Tuesday morning, when I got up ready and raring for Dad to be his usual two hours early. I showered in the knowledge that washing without equipment whilst I was away would be somewhat tricky, and I’d probably return slightly more wiffy than what anyone would want. I caught up on Friends with the sad awareness that proper telly, aka Netflix, would not be blissfully enjoyed for three whole days.   Read More...
